R3 PRAXIS / REASON · CONTROL · VERIFY

KNOW WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING AT.
KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT.

R3 Praxis OS is a field-built method for investigating conditions, evaluating evidence, controlling the next action and keeping a record of why. It operates on paper or in a digital workspace.

01

VARIABLES

What is present? Identify materials, conditions, tests, observations and unknowns.

02

RELATIONSHIPS

How does it interact? Map relevant conditions, constraints, sequences and dependencies.

03

CONTROL

What can proceed? Review evidence, confirm the Gate, lock scope, then plan authorized action.

04

CLOSE

What happened? Verify the result, document limitations and preserve the case record.

WHAT IS AN OPERATING SYSTEM FOR FIELD WORK?

ONE CASE. ONE DECISION PATH. A TRACEABLE RECORD.

R3 brings observations, photographs, measurements, relationships, decisions, estimates, scope changes and verification into one connected process. It does not invent certainty or automatically authorize work. A test may support a hypothesis, contradict it or remain inconclusive.

At the Control stage, a Gate asks whether work is ready to proceed, must be limited, needs further testing or should be blocked and referred. Scope Lock records the authorized boundary before action. Significant changes are reviewed rather than quietly added to the original plan.

R3 EVALUATION SERVICES

When a surface problem or proposed repair needs a closer look, an evaluation helps organize the conditions before money and labor are committed.

  • Field observation and photographs
  • Visible condition and material documentation
  • Knowns, unknowns, limits and competing explanations
  • Preliminary repair or restoration scope recommendations
  • Further testing or specialist referral when required

The deliverable is a written scope-planning summary, not an automatic finding of cause or a guarantee of repair suitability.

DEVELOP THE METHOD

GENEVIEVE R3 LAB

Genevieve R3 Lab is an independent applied-research initiative rooted in art, trade practice and field observation. It connects hands-on questions with repeatable documentation and experimental methods.

  • Coatings and material behavior
  • Field notes and photographic records
  • Surface studies and process comparisons
  • Research questions and small-scale experiments
  • Lessons that inform future R3 cases

The Lab is a research and documentation initiative, not a claim of accredited laboratory testing or regulated inspection authority.

PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARY

RESEARCH AND DOCUMENTATION ARE NOT LICENSING.

R3 is a method and organizational system. Neither the software nor an R3 Evaluation replaces regulated lead inspection, accredited laboratory analysis, risk assessment, engineering, code enforcement or licensed abatement where these are required. Qualified professionals remain responsible for their own work and authority.

R3 IN PRACTICE / ANONYMIZED CASE STUDIES

REAL CONDITIONS. TRACEABLE DECISIONS.

Explore four field records: aluminum siding coating tests, lead-safe renovation, cabinet finish systems and preliminary plaster condition review. Each distinguishes observation from interpretation and verified result from remaining uncertainty.
